# Use Screen Summarization

Screen Summarization is a feature that supports visually impaired and low-vision users by providing AI-generated summaries of workspace pages and their sections. The page and section summaries can be read aloud with a screen
reader.

## Before you begin

Install Screen Summarization by requesting it from the ServiceNow® Store. Visit the [ServiceNow® Store](https://store.servicenow.com/store) to view all the available apps and information about submitting requests to the store.

Role required: workspace_user

## About this task

## Procedure

1. Open a workspace page in your instance.
2. Press Command+U (Mac) or Control+U (Windows) to open the Screen summarization modal.  
   The Screen Summarization modal opens.

3. Choose between the following actions:  
   * Press Option+P (Mac) or Alt+P (Windows) for an AI-generated summary of the entire page.
   * Press Option+S (Mac) or Alt+S (Windows) for an AI-generated summary of the selected section.

## Result

The Screen Summarization modal generates a summary and can read it aloud with a screen reader.
