# Search the Activity stream {#ariaid-title1}

Use keywords to search the Activity stream and find work notes, emails, and comments.

## Before you begin

Role required: workspace_user

## Procedure

1. Open a record in your instance.
2. From the Activity stream, select the search icon (![Icon search.]()).
3. In the Search Activity Stream field, enter keywords to find results.  
   Note:  
   * Work notes, comments and emails will highlight matching keywords.
   * Attachments will not highlight matching keywords, but the attachments will display in the Activity stream.
