# Edit font

# Edit your default font {#ariaid-title1}

Edit your default font family and choose from the predefined options in Theme Builder or your own custom fonts.

## Before you begin

Role required: ui_builder_admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllNow Experience FrameworkTheme Builder.  
   The Theme Builder landing page appears in the Home page view.
2. Use the Page drop-down list to select the Editor page view.

3. From the Theme drop-down list located in the header bar, select the theme that you want to edit.

4. From the Global styles Overview panel, navigate to the Typography section and select the current font listed in the Default font family field.

5. Select a new font from the list of fonts.

   Note:  
   Use the preview pane within the modal to view the font face variations of each font. If you have uploaded any custom fonts, they will appear as selectable options in the modal.
6. Select Save.
7. **Optional:** Use the Abstract UI or Experience preview tabs on the main stage to view how your new font appears globally throughout your theme.  
   Depending on their size, custom fonts can inadvertently adjust the amount of text on the page. Test and preview your fonts before publishing your theme to your instance.

## Result

Your new font is displayed as the Default font family and applied globally to your theme. If your theme is published, your edits are visible to users who have your theme applied on refresh.
