Extend Dynamic Guidance knowledge base by linking your custom sources or adding additional sources beyond the default ServiceNow® product documentation. This enables Dynamic Guidance to provide answers based on your organization's specific documentation, knowledge articles, or other content repositories.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

Configure external content connectors for enabling desired custom sources. See <https://www.servicenow.com/docs/r/platform-administration/ai-search/configuring-ext-cont-connectors.html>.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllAI searchSearch experienceSearch profiles.
2. Follow standard search source configuration.  
   The process for adding sources to Dynamic Guidance is the same as adding any search source to a search profile in ServiceNow®. Follow this link: <https://www.servicenow.com/docs/r/platform-administration/ai-search/link-search-source-profile-ais.html>
3. Select Save to activate.
4. Publish Dynamic Guidance search profile record.  
   This capability of Dynamic Guidance provides comprehensive assistance according to your organization's specific needs while maintaining the foundation of ServiceNow® product documentation.
