# Use keyboard shortcuts

# Use keyboard shortcuts for emails {#ariaid-title1}

Use keyboard shortcuts to view response templates, drafts, and email templates.

## Before you begin

Role required: email_composer

## Procedure

1. Open a workspace record on your instance.
2. Open either the mini email composer or the full email composer.  

   Open the mini email composer
   :   From the Compose section, select the Email tab.

   Open the full email composer
   :   Select the More Actions icon (![More actions icon]()) and Compose Email.
3. In the email body, enter a keyboard shortcut.  

   View response templates
   :   Enter <kbd class="ph userinput">/r</kbd>.

   View drafts
   :   Enter <kbd class="ph userinput">/d</kbd>.

   View email templates
   :   Enter <kbd class="ph userinput">/e</kbd>.
4. Enter a keyword after the keyboard shortcut to search for a response template, draft, or email template.
5. Select the action or press the Enter key.
