This sections describes your initial log onto the OT Discovery Collector.

## Initial log in to the Console {#log-onto-ot-console__section_z5h_dmr_hjc}

After installing the Discovery Console for OT you're initially prompted to register and log in to the Console. This initial login gives you administrative rights throughout the entire system.

You're prompted to fill in your username, email, and password. The window indicates the strength of your password. You can select Generate Random Password instead of creating a password.

Copy or note the password you entered or generated. Select the check box next to I acknowledge I saved this password.
