# Edit email settings

Edit the email settings as needed to match the settings on your mail server.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to the Settings page.
2. Select the Email tab.
3. Select Edit.
4. On the Email Server Configuration form, edit the following fields as needed.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Host | IP address of the email server. |
   | Port | Port of the email server. Typically port 25. |
   | From Address | From address to use for the alert |
   | Enable TLS Encryption | Setting that must match the TLS setting on the email server. |
   | Enable Connection Logging | Option to log all email server connections to a file |

5. Select Save.
