Use mobile themes to give your applications a unique appearance that works with your
company identity.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## About this task

Important:  
Use legacy mobile theming on Tokyo and earlier ServiceNow® instances. For Utah and later releases, see [Next Experience theming for mobile](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/VUsSbw15CqbYecSJO9bQWA "Use Next Experience theming to give your mobile apps color scheme consistent with your instance web experience.").  
Note:  
Certain elements, such as banner text color, are not configurable with legacy theming and require Next Experience theming. For details, see [Next Experience theming for mobile](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/VUsSbw15CqbYecSJO9bQWA "Use Next Experience theming to give your mobile apps color scheme consistent with your instance web experience.").

## Procedure

1. Navigate to [Create a theme with Theme Builder](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=tb-create-theme&version=australia&pubname=australia-platform-user-interface&ft:locale=en-US).  
   Follow the instructions to create your theme.
2. Navigate to [Publish your themes with Theme Builder](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=tb-apply-theme&version=australia&pubname=australia-platform-user-interface&ft:locale=en-US).  
   Follow the instructions to publish your theme.

## What to do next

After you configure a mobile theme, you can apply the mobile theme to your mobile apps.
