# Create reference record entries

# Create reference record entries in record screen tables {#ariaid-title1}

Create new entries in the record screen tables of the Mobile App Builder. View where the Now Mobile configuration tree displays the new
entry in the hierarchy.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin or delegated developer

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllSystem MobileMobile App Builder.
2. In the Mobile App Builder application scope selection screen, search and select the name of your application scope.
3. Select a category from the categories home screen.
4. Open a new or existing record.
   * To open a new record, select the New button (![New button in categories home screen.]()).
   * To edit an existing record, select a record name.

5. In the record screen, select the New button (![New button.]()) to open an empty reference record in the configuration panel.  
   The ServiceNow AI Platform configuration tree is automatically updated with the new record that you created.  

6. Complete the fields as required and select Save.
