# Configure card templates

# Configure card templates in Mobile App Builder {#ariaid-title1}

Create a card template to define the UI elements and layout to be used on a card.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllSystem MobileMobile App Builder.  
   The Mobile App Builder opens in a new browser tab and displays the application scope selection screen.
2. Search for the application scope you're working in and then select the name of the application screen.  
   The Mobile App Builder categories home screen displays.
3. Select Cards \& icons in the menu, and then select New.
4. Select Card template from the displayed menu, and then select Continue.
5. Complete the following fields as needed.

   | Properties ||
   | Name | Name for the card template. |
   | Description | Additional information about your card template. |
   | Active | Determines if this card template is available to use. |

6. Select Save.
7. Select Open in Mobile Card Builder to open the Mobile Card Builder view.  
   The Mobile Card Builder view displays.
8. Edit the appearance of your card template and select Save once you're finished.
9. Close the Mobile Card Builder view to return to your Mobile App Builder screen.
