OEMs create sales promotions and target them to specific criteria or customers. The dealers or channel partners extend these promotions to end customers and submit reimbursement claims to the OEM.

The sales promotion framework enables OEMs to publish and manage the promotional campaigns, and enables dealers to submit reimbursement claims. The dealer portal enables dealers to submit claims for reimbursement post product sales
transactions.​ Sales promotion includes three main phases:

* Creation of sales promotion by the OEM.
* Creation of claim against the promotion by the dealer.
* Review and reimbursement for the claim by the OEM.
