The quality issue management (QIM) framework enables OEMs for documenting non-conformance, evaluating their effects on assets and customers, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective, containment, and other
remediation actions.

The QIM brings together quality data, workflows, and stakeholders into a single system of record. This approach boosts transparency, speeds up resolutions, increases accountability, and supports continuous improvement efforts.
The QIM involves the following tasks:

* Issue detection and logging
* Root cause analysis
* Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
* Outcome monitoring
* Documentation
