# Create a product non-conformance case

Create a non-conformance case report for products that had an issue.

## Before you begin

Role required: Quality Issue Management Admin or Product Non-conformance Triager (sn_mfg_qm.product_non_conformance_case_triager)

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesCSM/FSM Configurable WorkspaceListProduct Non Conformance Case.
2. Select New.
3. On the Product Non-conformance Case form, fill in the fields.  
   For a description of the field values, see [Product details form](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/6wWo6ExVRB9RE63PxDglfA "The Product non-conformance details form enables you to add the case details.").
4. Select Save.
5. Select Submit.  
   The State move from Draft to New.
6. The Assignment group and Assigned to are auto-populated.  
   Assigned to is the manager of the Assignment group. It can be reassigned to any of the available user.
7. On the related list, the Product Non Conformance Case Tasks are created.  
   Note:  
   The PNCC tasks are auto created.
8. On the Product Non Conformance Case task form, fill in the fields.

9. Select Save.
10. **Optional:** Select one of the following option.  
    * Cancel Case
    * Close Case
    * Update
    * Update with Lens
    * Assign to me
11. Select Save.
