# Create labor code

Define a labor code for the different tasks or work performed by the service agents.

## Before you begin

Role required: manufacturing operations admin (sn_mfg_cmn.manufacturing_operations_admin)

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllWorkspacesCSM/FSM Configurable Workspace.
2. Select the List icon.
3. Navigate to MCO SetupLabor code.
4. Select New.
5. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   | Name | Labor code name. |
   | Active | Option to indicate if the labor code is active or not. |
   | Description | Description for the labor code. |

6. Select Save.

## Result

The labor code is generated.
