# Check your software license compliance using the legacy Software License Compliance

You can check your software license compliance using the Software License Compliance
Checker that is included in the legacy Software Asset Management
(com.snc.software_asset_management) plugin.

## Before you begin

Role required: sam

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllSoftware AssetSystemCheck License Compliance.
2. Click Proceed.  
   Your organization's network is analyzed for name, software model, rights, installs, license type, and active status.
3. View the results.  
   The Software Counters list is color coded.
   * Green - in compliance
   * Orange - within 5% of being out of compliance
   * Red - not compliant
