# View a service offering

# View a service offering in Service Portfolio Management {#ariaid-title1}

View service offerings in Service Portfolio Management to find offerings that add value to your organization and external users. You can also view service offerings in the Service Builder application.

## Before you begin

Role required: service_editor

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllService Portfolio ManagementService Offerings.
2. Find the service offering by scrolling through the list or select the filter () to adjust the filter conditions.
3. Select the service offering to open it.  
   Before you open an offering, you may see one of the following symbols in front of its name.
   * The word \[DRAFT\] indicates that the offering is checked out and is in a draft state.
   * A clear triangle warning symbol (![Clear triangle]()) indicates that it's the new copy \[DRAFT\] that's being worked on.
   * A red dot (![Red dot]()) indicates that the offering is read only.

   {#SPM2-view-service-offering__ul_oh4_knx_hcc}As you view the offering, you can use the first set of tabs to see its general information, supporting teams, and information about price and operations. Use the second set of tabs (Related Links) for more details about the offering. Also, a button enables you to edit the offering in the Service Builder application.
4. **Optional:** View a service offering using the Service Builder application.
   1. Navigate to AllService Portfolio ManagementService Builder.
   2. Select the Services tab.
   3. Find and open the service for the service offering that you seek.  
      Tip:  
      You can narrow your search by using the filter options on the column headings.
   4. After the service opens, select Manage Offerings in the navigation panel to see the list of offerings.  
      You can also select New to create a service offering for that service.  
      Note:  
      The same symbols apply as previously described.
