# Enable collaboration services for configurable workspaces {#ariaid-title1}

Activate the UI Components of Collaboration for Configurable Workspaces (com.snc.uib.collaboration) plugin to enable the reusing of the component in other configurable workspaces.

## About this task

If you're upgrading to Zurich, you must install the UI Components of Collaboration for Configurable Workspaces (com.snc.uib.collaboration) plugin to use the component in across other workspaces. The existing Collaboration
services for Service Operations Workspace (SOW) (com.snc.uib.sow_collaboration) is still supported. However, to use the latest collaboration services component, you must update the system properties to implement the
functionality. The UI Components of Collaboration for Configurable Workspaces (com.snc.uib.collaboration) plugin is installed by default for zBoot users. Additionally, if you have made any customizations, you must apply those customizations again when you install the UI Components of Collaboration for Configurable Workspaces (com.snc.uib.collaboration) plugin.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllSystem ApplicationsAll Available ApplicationsAll.
2. Enter <kbd class="ph userinput">com.snc.uib.collaboration</kbd> in the search bar.
3. Select Install.
