# Enable users to subscribe to the On-Call calendar

# Enable users to subscribe to the On-Call calendar {#ariaid-title1}

Configure an On-Call calendar subscription URL and send it to the members of a
shift. The URL is an iCal link that enables users to subscribe to their on-call
calendar from their preferred calendar client.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin, rota_admin, or rota_manager

## About this task

The Subscription URL supports SSO authentication to view and download on-call calendar.  
Note:  
Don't share the subscription URL for security reasons.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllOn-Call SchedulingMy Group Schedules. {#enable-subscribe-calendar-oncall__OCSubsURLStart}

2. Select the shift for which you want to send the on-call calendar subscription URL.
3. Specify the following details in the Calendar Subscription section.

   | Coverage interval | Select if you want to update the subscribed calendar with weekly or daily coverage details. |
   | Get coverage for | Based on your coverage interval selection, select the number of weeks or days for which you want to update the subscribed calendar. |

4. Select Update.
5. Select Send Subscriptions to send the calendar subscription URL to all members of the shift by email.  
   Members of the shift will receive an email with the subscription link. Select the Subscription link and log in with SSO credentials to download the calendar or generate and copy the subscription URL.
