# Manage the dashboard in Service Operations Workspace {#ariaid-title1}

Add or edit the cards that are to be viewed on the IT Agent Dashboard in Service Operations Workspace.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin  
Note:  
The dashboard icon is located in the navigation header of Service Operations Workspace and available only to users with admin role. All itil users can view the dashboard, but only admin users can add, edit or remove cards.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesService Operations Workspace.
2. Select Dashboard icon (![Dashboard icon]()).
3. Select Edit.  
   Tip:  
   If you see a message that you cannot edit the dashboard because it is read-only, select Duplicate to create an editable copy. To use the duplicated copy as the default view in Service Operations Workspace, open the duplicated dashboard, select the settings icon, and set it as the default for your user group.
4. Select the Add new element drop-down, and then select the element to be added to the dashboard.
