# Review and update release details

# Review and update release details {#ariaid-title1}

Review and modify the details of a release. You can also retarget the readiness date of the release as required.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_dpr_model.product_manager or sn_dpr_model.release_admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesDigital Product Release Workspace.
2. Select the releases icon (![Releases icon.]()).
3. Select a release from the list to open.
4. Select Overview to review the release's progress and quality at a glance, take any necessary steps, or review and change its details.
5. Select the Release overview tab to review the important dates, change requests, risk scores, tasks, and policy and approval statuses.

6. Select the Details tab to perform following actions:
   1. Update release details, such as the release name, owner, status, or description, as needed.
   2. Attach a supporting file to the release for additional context and collaboration during execution.  
      1. From the Contextual side panel, select the attachments icon (![Attachments icon.]()).
      2. In the Attachments pane, add, rename, download, or delete attachments.
         * If attaching the first file, select the Select file button, or else select the add file button (![Add file icon.]()), and upload a file.
         * To rename an attachment, select the actions icon (![Actions icon.]()), select Rename and update the file name.
         * To delete an attachment, select the actions icon, select Delete.
         * To download an attachment, select the actions icon, select Download.

7. Select the Quality tab to review the software and test quality summaries for an ongoing release.  
   This tab is available only for the release of a product. For more information, see [Release Quality dashboard](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/NEO86H0NCUox35a58Lmaug "The Release Quality dashboard provides insights into the quality of a release based on the software quality scan summaries and test summaries.").  
   Note:  
   You must configure pipelines to track software quality of your release.
