## About this task

The data coming from the integrated external tools provide you with insights into the breakdown of product enhancements into epics and their stories. This data also enables you to create and automate policies and determine whether the release meets the release exit criteria. For more
information, see [View and manage data from external tools](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/US4~6lrcVYjlLvG2Cn1XEw "View and manage data coming from the DevOps application corresponding to your product that has been imported through external tools.").

You can also track the software quality of your releases on the [Release Quality dashboard](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/NEO86H0NCUox35a58Lmaug "The Release Quality dashboard provides insights into the quality of a release based on the software quality scan summaries and test summaries.") that uses this data to show up on different widgets.
