# View web application metrics

# View metrics of a web application {#ariaid-title1}

View metrics of a web application to get a comprehensive view of the performance of the application. Tracking these metrics over time can help you gauge the impact of changes made to the application and monitor its long-term
performance.

## Before you begin

Confirm that the DEX plugin (sn_dex) is installed.

Role required: sn_dex.user

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesService Operations Workspace.
2. In the primary navigation pane, select the Applications icon (![The Applications icon.]()).
3. Select a web application name.
4. Select Performance under Application metrics.  
   You can view information on the users, sessions, response time, page load time, and availability.    Note:  
   If you set up a page-level monitoring for specific application pages, you can see the collected metrics in the Metrics analyzer. Select one or more pages under Pages and narrow down your data by location, OS, or date range.
