Terminate a process on your device to boost performance and free up valuable resources for smoother operation.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_dex.engineer or sn_dex.admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesService Operations Workspace.
2. In the primary navigation pane, select the Devices icon (![Devices icon]()).
3. Select the device for which you want to terminate a process.
4. Select Running processes.
5. In the contextual side panel, select the Action library icon (![Actions library icon]()).
6. In the End process card, select Start.
7. Select the End process card that shows the process state as New.
8. In the Get user approval card, select I received approval to trigger this action, then select Submit.
9. In the Process ID (PID) field, enter the corresponding ID obtained from the PID column.
10. Select Submit.

## Result

The process is terminated.

## What to do next

In the contextual side panel, select the Playbook icon (![Playbook icon]()) to access the current device action and to review the action execution history of the device.
