# Playbook for remedial actions in incident investigation with DEX {#ariaid-title1}

The Playbook Experience displays current and past remedial actions executed from different sources. You can manage actions run from the Suggested resolutions or Action library within a DEX incident investigation page.  
Remedial actions executed from the following sources are displayed in the Playbooks panel of the incident record:

* Suggested resolutions from the Investigation tab of the incident record.
* Action library within the incident record
* Action library within a DEX device page
* DEX Self-service for employees
* Proactive Engagement

Each action card in the Playbooks panel displays information like the action name, source, status, start time, and name of user who initiated the action.  
You can monitor current and past remedial actions and cancel ongoing actions run from the Suggested resolutions or Action library within the incident record.

* Current actions: Actions with the status of New or In Progress.
* Past actions: Actions with the status of Completed, Canceled, or Failed.
