Install DevOps Config Policy content pack for a default set of DevOps Config policies that you can use as-is, or customize for your
needs.

## Before you begin

Important:  
Starting with the Washington D.C. release, DevOps Config is being prepared for future deprecation. It will be hidden and no longer activated on new instances but will continue to be supported.  
Note:  
You must install the DevOps Config application before installing the DevOps Config Policy content pack.

Role required: admin

## About this task

The DevOps Config Policy content pack contains a set of [default DevOps Config
policies](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/2mKBQTgbSB9haNIyhcfm8g "The DevOps Config Policy content pack contains a set of default DevOps Config policies to validate your configuration data.") to validate your configuration data.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to System ApplicationsAll Available ApplicationsAll.
2. Click the Not Installed tab to view a list of applications available for installation.
3. Locate the DevOps Config Policy content pack and click Install.
