Role required: admin

## About this task

The Continual Improvement Management (com.sn_cim) plugin is available with ITSM Professional, CSM Professional, and HR Service Delivery Professional subscriptions only. Contact your ServiceNow account manager to purchase a subscription and activate the plugin on your organization's instances.
If you don't have an account manager, decide to delay activation after purchasing a subscription, or want to evaluate the product on a sub-production instance without charge:

* Request CIM activation on your instance by using the Now Support portal. For more information, see the [Requesting a Plugin from the Service Catalog \[KB0751715\]](https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0751715) Knowledge Base article.
