# Configure success score rating

# Configure success score rating {#ariaid-title1}

Based on the change success score rating, a color and text is associated that is
displayed as part of the Change Success Score card. By default, four success score ratings are
available with a specific score range.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin  
The following default ratings available.

* Low
* Medium
* High
* Excellent

Each rating is associated with a default range and color.

The Change Success Score Ratings table is used to hold the records of the text and a color associated with the success score range.

You can choose to modify
the score range, color, introduce, or modify new rating values. The values defined here can be viewed in the Change Success Score card on the change Request form.  
Important:  
The AllChangeAdministrationChange Success Score Ratings module appears only when the Change Success Score feature is active in your instance. If you cannot find the module, see[Activate Change Management - Change Success Score](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/W4CuR3jbdvD9WyyoP3QGvA "You can activate the Change Management - Change Success Score (com.snc.change_management.change_success_score) plugin if you have the admin role. This plugin activates related plugins if they are not already active.") and confirm you have the `admin` role.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllChangeAdministrationChange Success Score Ratings.
2. Perform the given action based on your requirements.

   | Action | Procedure |
   | To add a new score range | Click New and fill in the range details and the color you want to associate and submit. |
   | To modify the existing range | Open the rating, and click the here link in the record information message to modify the values. |

3. Select Update.
