Recalculate previously created application services

    • Recalculate application services after you refine the default configuration to control which CIs to include during the tag-based discovery process.

    Before you begin

    Complete the steps to refine the default configuration for the tag-based discovery process. For more details, see Tag-based discovery configuration.

    Note:
    Starting with Service Mapping Plus version 1.16.3, take advantage of the Tag-based Service Mapping workspace to efficiently map you application services. For more information, see Tag-based mapping in the Service Mapping Workspace and Tag-based discovery for the Service Mapping Workspace.

    Role required: service_mapping_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Service Mapping > Services > Application Services.
    2. Click the relevant application service.
    3. Click Recalculate Service under Related Links.
    4. Repeat these steps for all relevant tag-based services.
