Oracle Tuxedo discovery
The ServiceNow Discovery application uses the Tuxedo pattern to find Oracle Tuxedo resources. Discovering some of these resources may require updating to the latest version of the Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns application from the ServiceNow Store.
Request apps on the Store
Visit the ServiceNow Store to view all the available apps, and for information about submitting requests to the store. For cumulative release notes information for all released apps, see the ServiceNow Store version history release notes.
Discovery uses the Tuxedo pattern to run horizontal discovery.

Data collected by Discovery for Oracle Tuxedo
Discovery populates the data in the CMDB when running the Tuxedo pattern.

| Port [port] | The network communication port used by Oracle Tuxedo services and processes for network communication. |
| Domain [domain] | The logical grouping of Oracle Tuxedo components and services operating within a defined environment. |
| Installation directory [install_directory] | The location that contains all binaries and configuration files necessary for running Oracle Tuxedo. |
| Log dir [log_dir] | The directory that stores all log files generated by Oracle Tuxedo for monitoring and troubleshooting. |
| Version [version] | The specific release of Oracle Tuxedo that is installed and currently in use. |
| Mode [mode] | The definition of the interaction protocol between Oracle Tuxedo and various clients or other domains, such as Jolt, Workstation, or Domain Gateway, based on the operational configuration. |
