  • The ITOM Configuration Console gives administrators a single place to complete all Event Management setup steps — from installing plugins to configuring alert automations.

    The console contains two modules: Discovery and Event Management.

    Discovery guides you through the end-to-end setup of your IT infrastructure scanning. It covers assigning administrators, deploying and validating MID servers, configuring IP and cloud credentials, scheduling discovery runs, and reviewing schedules. It also includes diagnostics to identify discovery errors and detect anomalies, ensuring your environment is fully validated before you promote your configuration to production.

    Event Management helps you take control of your IT alerts from start to finish. It begins with assigning administrators, setting up integration accounts, and installing the necessary integrations to connect your monitoring tools. From there, you can review and enrich incoming alerts, automatically create incidents, and reduce noise by grouping, ignoring, or delaying alerts. The platform also provides structured training for your operations team on key tools such as Service Operations Workspace, Express List, and Service Dashboard. Finally, built-in dashboards help you report on outcomes and measure progress before promoting your configuration to production.
