Create a test to see if your features are working correctly.

## Before you begin

* [Create a test case](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/0Mb1gf7YIDPQcFY8dBr6bA "Create a test case to group one or more related individual tests.").
* Role required: tm_test_manager or tm_tester

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllTest ManagementTest RepositoryTest Cases.
2. Open a test case to which you want to add a test.
3. From the Tests related list, click New.
4. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Number | System-generated unique identifier for this test. |
   | State | Status of the test. Choose from one of the following: * Draft: Test is not ready to be performed. * Ready: Test is ready to be performed. * Inactive: Test is no longer active {#t_CreateATest__ul_td5_f53_yq} |
   | Order | Order in which this test is performed, relative to other tests in this test case. |
   | Test | Name of the test indicating what the test is for. For example, Approve Quote and convert to Order. |
   | Expected result | Expected result of the test. |
   | Detailed description | Description of what is being tested. |

5. Click Submit.
