Update the details of existing tasks from the planning page of the Project Workspace.

## Before you begin

Role required: it_project_manager, it_project_user

## Procedure

1. Open a project from the home page of Project Workspace.  
   For information, see [Access the Project Workspace](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/NizzG8MYmtX6E2dj4LyjPw "Learn how to navigate to the new Project Workspace and open a project in the planning page.").
2. From the list of tasks on the data grid, select a task that you want to update.  
   The task details open in the side panel.
3. Edit the fields.
4. Select Update.
