# Add an attachment to a project template

# Add an attachment to a project template {#ariaid-title1}

Attach a file to a project template just as you can attach a file to a project or
task.

## Before you begin

Role required: it_project_manager

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllProjectProjectsTemplates.
2. Open the desired template.
3. Select the Attachments tab to open the related list.
4. Select New.
5. Select Browse on the Attachments dialog box and select a file.
6. If desired, select Add Another Attachment to select another file.
7. Select Attach.  
   The selected file appears in the Attachments related list.
