Map the fields for each table map from Portfolio Planning to Project Portfolio Management and vice-versa.

## Before you begin

Ensure that you have created a table map for an alignment integration record. For more information, see [Create a table map](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/aOG96K32ke8ck3VLIKpIlw "Create a table map to define the mapping between tables in Portfolio Planning with the tables in Project Portfolio Management (PPM).").  
Note:  
If the execution field type is 'Reference' and the alignment field type is 'String', then the sync will not work.

Role required: sn_align_core.apw_admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllPortfolio PlanningIntegrations.
2. Select ServiceNow Internal.
3. In the Table Maps related list, select the table map for which you want to create a field map.
4. Create a new field map by selecting New in the Field Maps tab.
5. In the [Field map form](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/0TKNMmrELXHTZ5bXbgUm4A "Understand the fields of the field map form. This form is used to create mappings for a corresponding table map."), fill in the fields.
6. Click Submit.
