# Create user subscriptions in the workspace {#ariaid-title1}

Create software subscriptions for SaaS and SSO applications for users in the Software Asset Workspace.

## Before you begin

The User subscription option is available only if the Software Asset Management - SaaS License Management (sn_sam_saas_int) plugin is activated.

Role required: sam_admin or sam_user

## About this task

If you're using Software Asset Workspace, the option to create user subscriptions in Core UI is inactive.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to the Create New Software Subscription form.

   | Core UI | Navigate to AllSoftware AssetSoftware Subscriptions. |
   | Software Asset Workspace | 1. Navigate to WorkspacesSoftware Asset WorkspaceLicense operations. 2. Select User subscription. {#view-user-subscription-workspace__ol_czm_12b_ddc} |

2. Select New.
3. On the Create New Software Subscription form, fill in the fields.

4. Select Save.
