# Manage enterprise asset picking

# Manage enterprise asset picking within your stockrooms {#ariaid-title1}

Inventory picking enables inventory users to locate and pick assets within large stockrooms. When you enable asset pick tasks for a stockroom and provide granular location details, technicians can retrieve assets quickly and
efficiently.  
The Inventory picking feature includes adding an Asset pick task in the following Enterprise Asset Management workflows:

Note:  
The Asset pick task is available only if it's enabled explicitly for a stockroom that's used to source asset requests, refresh requests, or sourcing requests. The Asset pick task enables you to pick the assets from any aisle and space within your stockroom. You can then drop the picked asset to a specified place within the stockroom. After you complete the Asset pick task, asset technicians
can pick up the assets to fulfill the requests assigned to them.

Asset technicians can also use the Mobile Agent application to work on the assigned asset pick tasks.
