# Drop off enterprise assets at a stockroom

# Drop off enterprise assets at a stockroom {#ariaid-title1}

Add enterprise assets to a Drop off task and deliver the assets to the required stockroom.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_eam.enterprise_asset_technician

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesEnterprise Asset WorkspaceWork management.
2. Select the Asset tasks tab.
3. From the list of asset tasks, select the drop off task for which you want to add enterprise assets.
4. Select the Drop off Assets tab.
5. Select Add.
6. In the Add assets dialog box, select the assets and select Add.  
   You can only add enterprise assets that are in your personal stockroom and that aren't reserved and aren't part of any workflows.  
   The assets added to the drop off task are listed in the Drop off Assets tab.
7. Drop off the assets at the required stockroom.
8. Select Drop off.

## Result

* A Receive task is created and assigned to the asset manager of the stockroom where you dropped off the assets.
* The state of the Drop off task changes to Work in Progress.
