Add existing assets to an asset group or a subgroup.

## Before you begin

Role required:

* sn_eam.enterprise_admin
* sn_eam.enterprise_asset_manager
* sn_eamfam.facility_asset_manager
* sn_eamhc.medical_asset_manager
* sn_otam.ot_asset_manager

Assets can be added to an asset group or subgroups in the Enterprise Asset Workspace, Facility Asset Workspace, Medical Asset Workspace, and the Operational Technology (OT) Asset Workspace. This task specifically describes how to add assets to an asset group in the Enterprise Asset Workspace.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllEnterprise Asset WorkspaceEnterprise asset estateAsset groups.
2. Open the asset group record to which you want to add assets.
3. Select the Assets related list.
4. Select Add to open the Add asset dialog box.

5. Select the assets that you want to add.  
   You can also use the condition builder to search for specific assets.
6. Select Add.  
   The selected assets are added to the asset group and are listed in the Assets related list.
