# Manage Objectives and Outcomes in Impact Delivery Instance {#ariaid-title1}

Use Manage objectives and outcomes to set up which objectives and outcomes you want to track for each product.

## Before you begin

This marks the start of the value management lifecycle as the selections made here populate the Objectives and Outcomes page and, populate Outcome Insights and Value Reports.

Role required: Impact admin, Platform Owner, Impact Portfolio Owner, and Impact Executive.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to ImpactValue ManagementObjectives and Outcomes.
2. Select the products to configure objectives and outcomes for.  
   Products are grouped by workflow category. Expand the relevant category and select one or more products.
3. Select Save and continue.
4. Set up objectives and outcomes by product.  
   For each product selected in the previous step, review its available objectives and outcomes. Objectives can be shared across multiple products, indicated by the product tags listed above each objective title.  
   Note:  
   For IT Service Management, Enhanced outcomes are now available for tracking alongside Standard outcomes. Performance insights and trend analysis for Enhanced outcomes are only available
   in the Impact Store Application. Download Impact from the ServiceNow store to take advantage of the latest features directly in your instance. See [Install Impact](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/75CiWr1d_E598FokiesPDg "Follow these instructions to install the Impact Store Application.") for more information.
5. Select Save and Continue.
6. Review your selections and select Confirm updates.  
   A summary of every selected objective and outcome is displayed, organized by objective, with its outcome, success metric, outcome model, product, and any updates made in this session. Use the View by product filter to narrow the summary to a specific product.

## Result

Once confirmed, newly added objectives move into a Work in progress state and appear on the main Objectives and Outcomes page.
