## Summary of Results of Migrating a Metric Category to an Assessment Template

## Key Features

* **Migration Tracking:** Once you initiate the migration, track its progress through the Assessment template migrations list under All \> Smart Assessment Engine \> Administration \> Template Migrations.
* **Unique Migration Identifiers:** Each migration record is assigned a unique identifier starting with "ATMIG" for categories, "ATQMIG" for questions, and "ATROMIG" for response options, facilitating easy search and retrieval.
* **Status Indicators:** The migration status can be 'Completed', 'Errored', or 'Not Supported', providing clear insights into the migration process and potential issues.

## Key Outcomes

Upon accessing the migration results, you'll find detailed information in related lists for section migrations, question migrations, and response option migrations. Each list includes:

* **Source and Target Definitions:** Understand which metric categories, questions, and response options were migrated or created.
* **Error Details:** If errors occur, descriptions are provided for troubleshooting.

This structured approach ensures ServiceNow customers can efficiently manage the migration process and make necessary adjustments based on the results and error feedback.
You can view the data that was migrated from the metric type to the Smart Assessment Engine assessment template in the related lists on the Assessment template migration form.

## Tracking assessment template migration {#sae-migrate-asmnt-template-form__section_xrt_szb_2cc}

After you have filled out the Assessment template migration form and started the migration process, you can view the progress and confirm if it completed successfully or if there were any errors. For more information on the
migration process, see [Creating an assessment template from legacy assessment metric types](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/ERAHYsZIoJTM6rhTjwXMuQ "You can use the assessment designs that you have already created by migrating the metric types to the Smart Assessment Engine assessment templates. You can leverage the existing assessment designs to support SAE assessment automation, analysis, and reporting."), [Migrate a legacy metric type to an assessment template](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/D8KQZvlVbZAf_i4AVqdKSQ "Migrate an existing metric type to an SAE assessment template.
