Respond to an assessment that has been assigned to your queue. Your responses to the assessment help with making informed decisions and taking targeted actions by using the Smart Assessment Engine application.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_smart_asmt.actor

## About this task

When you're assigned a task to respond to an assessment, you submit your responses to the assessment within the relevant workspace. Smart assessments are available for use with Control attestation and Risk identification.
Your responses can help with gathering evidence to prove that a control is implemented or help identify gaps that can lead to potential risk.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to your workspace.
2. Navigate to your list of assigned assessments.  
   Here's an example of how to navigate to this list in the Compliance Workspace.
   1. Navigate to AllPolicy and ComplianceCompliance Workspace.
   2. Select the tasks icon ![]().
   3. Select the Control attestationsSmart Assessments on the left panel.
   4. The smart assessments list is displayed.

3. Select the assessment you want to respond to.
4. Review any instructions or reference information.  
   You may see additional question guidance text for your review as you complete the questions.
5. Answer all relevant questions in the questionnaire.  
   Your responses are automatically saved.
6. Select Submit.
