Categorize information objects as personal information. Only information objects classified as personal information can be associated with the processing activities.

## About this task

Information objects that are classified as personal information can be used in the privacy assessments and processing activities.

automatically classified.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllPrivacy ManagementPrivacy Workspace.
2. In the Privacy Workspace, click the List icon (![]()).
3. Navigate to Privacy elementsAll Information objects.
4. Select and open the information object you want to tag.
5. In the Data Classification field, select Personal Information.
6. Select Save.

## Result

The information object that you classified as personal information appears in the \[PI\] Information Objects list.
