To identify the types of personal data compromised during a breach, add \[PI\] information objects to a privacy case.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_privacy_case.privacy_case_analyst

## About this task

\[PI\] information objects represent types of data that have been classified as personal information in your organization, such as email addresses, bank account numbers, or educational details. Only information objects that
have been classified as personal information appear in the \[PI\] Information objects list. For more information, refer to [Classify information objects as personal information](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/DL4O5gU1scbyF4XE3ZqI~g "Categorize information objects as personal information. Only information objects classified as personal information can be associated with the processing activities.").

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllPrivacy ManagementPrivacy Workspace.
2. Select the list ![]() icon.
3. Select All Cases.
4. Open the case for which you want to add \[PI\] information objects.
5. Select the \[PI\] Information objects related list.
6. Select Add.
7. Select the information object(s) you want to add to the privacy case.
8. Select Add.

After adding PI information objects, add key stakeholders to the
privacy case. For more information, see
