## Key Features

* **Notification Delivery:** Notifications can be sent to specific contacts or groups using delivery channels that are created and managed in Everbridge and imported into ServiceNow for your organization.
* **Workflow Integration:** Sending an emergency notification from the Business Continuity Workspace initiates a workflow from Draft to Complete state in Everbridge, creating an incident to manage the notification process.
* **Monitoring and Reporting:** The Emergency Notifications tab displays details such as notification state, start and end dates, and a summary of contacts' responses.
* **Response Tracking:** The notification summary shows the number of contacts notified, unreachable contacts, acknowledgments received, pending acknowledgments, and late acknowledgments, all synchronized between Everbridge and ServiceNow.
* **Follow-up Notifications:** If many contacts are unreachable, you can create additional notifications targeting alternate groups (e.g., management teams) to ensure critical messages are delivered.

## Practical Use for ServiceNow Customers

This integration enables BCM users to efficiently send and track emergency alerts during crises directly from the ServiceNow platform, ensuring timely communication and response coordination with stakeholders. By leveraging Everbridge's delivery channels and response tracking, organizations can maintain situational awareness and adjust notification strategies when delivery issues arise.

To implement this functionality, correct configuration of contacts, groups, and importing Everbridge delivery channels into ServiceNow is required. For detailed administrative setup, refer to the dedicated setup documentation for Everbridge notifications integration.
You can integrate Crisis Management in the BCM application with Everbridge notifications system. You can then send an emergency notification to an individual or a group of people alerting them of an impending emergency. It provides a one-way notification and two-way communication
through properly established delivery channels.

Crisis Management in Business Continuity Management application uses Everbridge to direct certain crisis response activities. This integration helps to send notifications about critical events to stakeholders and coordinates responses from them in an effective two-way delivery
channel.

To send a notification, you need correct contacts, groups, and delivery channels. Delivery channels are created and stored in Everbridge and you have to import those delivery channels for your particular organization ID. These delivery channels are used for sending notifications and contact creation.
