Use the Impact Category record form to add impact category details such as name, criteria, applicable timeframes, maximum RTO value, and so on in BCM UIB Workspace.

## Impact Category record form {#impact-category-new-record-form__section_cpc_zbt_zxb}

| Field | Description |
|-|-|
| Name | Name of the impact category. |
| Contributes to | Contribution to RPO or RTO as a result of the impact on business disruption. If the impact category contributes to Recovery Point Objective, then the Impact analysis questions related list appears. |
| Applicable timeframes | Duration of business process disruption. This field appears only if the Contributes to field value is RTO. |
| Maximum RTO value | Metric that calculates the maximum time limit within which the business must recover an element after a disruption. |
| Description | Brief description of the impact category. |
| Helper text | Field to add the helper text. It provides a hint to the users on how to respond to the assessment questions. The helper text is then displayed for the user in the business impact analysis record. |
