# Export OSCAL catalog

From the Control objective list view page, you can export the catalog in OSCAL JSON format for the selected control objectives. This action enables you to export your control objectives from CAM.

## Before you begin

Role required:

* Authorizing Official (sn_irm_cont_auth.authorization_official)
* Information System Security Manager (sn_irm_cont_auth.info_system_sec_manager)
* Information System Security Officer (sn_irm_cont_auth.info_system_sec_officer)
* System Owner (sn_irm_cont_auth.system_owner)

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesCAM Workspace.
2. In the CAM Workspace, select the List icon (![List]()).
3. Select Control objectives from the Compliance list.
4. From the list view, select one or more control objectives records which need to be exported.
5. Select OSCAL Export.
6. In the pop-up window, enter the Title and Version and then select Export.  
   Important:  
   Verify that the pop-up blocker is turned off for the URL so that the Catalog JSON file is automatically downloaded to your local repository.  
   The catalog JSON file is downloaded in your local repository.
