After a policy is published, create an acknowledgement campaign to define an audience, notify them to confirm that the policy is in compliance, and track their responses.

After a policy is published, a compliance user creates an acknowledgement campaign to notify a defined group of employees that they must confirm that the policy is in compliance. Before creating a campaign, you must define an
audience (a group of users, groups, or filtered user sets) in the Audience module.

After the audience is defined, you create a campaign from the published policy record and submit the acknowledgement request. Submitting the request sends an email notification to each audience member and creates individual
acknowledgement records for tracking. You can monitor response progress from the Acknowledgement Results tab and identify overdue responses through the Overdue Acknowledgements module.

Audience members can accept, decline, or request an exception from the My Acknowledgements module or the ServiceNow Service Portal. The options available depend on how the campaign was configured.
