The GRC: Approver Configurator application provides you with capabilities to define multiple levels of approvals based on the business assignment rule configurations.  
To set up multiple levels of approvals in your application, you must complete the following setup steps:

1. Set up an approval configuration record. For more information, see [Set up an approval configuration record](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/qB29VSFGnbBZW3iFahxfTQ "Set up an approval configuration record to enable multiple levels of approvals and select approvers for each level based on approval rules.").
2. Set up the approval levels. For more information, see [Assign an approval level for the approval configuration record](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/3pwE4jKUZzr3vWtIG5GXTQ "Assign one or more approval levels for the approval configuration record to support each step of approval.").
3. Set up assignment configurations. 4. Set up the approval rules.
