| Field | Description |

| Contract model | Type of the contract being created such as Service or Purchase Agreement. |
| Vendor | Vendor of the contract. |
| Contract number | Unique number identifying the contract, as assigned by the vendor. |
| Name | Name or short description of the contract. |
| Parent contract | Parent contract or agreement for this contract. |
| Start date | Date on which the contract takes effect. |
| End date | Date on which the contract expires. |
| State | Current state of the contract, for example, Draft. |
| Substate | Current sub-state of the contract, for example, Awaiting review. |
| Contract administrator | Internal contact for reviewing, interpreting, and signing contracts, for example, Abel Tuter. |
| Approver | Person who is responsible for reviewing and approving the contract. |
| Business owner | Internal contact responsible for the ownership of goods or services. |
| Description | Detailed description of the contract. |
