# Create the contact import rules

# Create the contact import rules {#ariaid-title1}

Create a contact import rule to apply on the User table. You can then filter out the users as the contacts for emergency notifications.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_bcm.admin

## About this task

The default table on which the contact import rule is applied is the User table \[sys_user\]. The sys_id of the user table and the unique contact ID of the Contacts table are mapped.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to Business ContinuityEverbridge Contact ConfigurationContact Import Rules.
2. Select New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

4. Select Submit.
